Estonian parlt panel backs ratification of child protection convention

TALLINN - The Legal Affairs Committee of the Estonian parliament today unanimously backed ratification of the Lanzarote Convention on the protection of children against sexual exploitation and sexual abuse. The bill on the ratification of the convention will be brought up for the first reading in the Riigikogu on Sept. 28, spokespeople for the parliament announced.
