TALLINN – At its extraordinary sitting on Wednesday, the European Union affairs committee of the Riigikogu elected Peeter Tali as its chairman and Anastassia Kovalenko-Kõlvart as its vice-chair.
The extraordinary election of the chair and vice-chair of the committee took place because the former chair of the committee, Liisa Pakosta, has taken up the post of minister of justice and digital affairs in the new government.
The other members of the standing committee are Arvo Aller, Enn Eesmaa, Rain Epler, Maria Jufereva-Skuratovski, Katrin Kuusemäe, Hanah Lahe, Tiit Maran, Anti Poolamets, Maido Ruusmann, Luisa Rõivas, Riina Solman, Aivar Sõerd, Kadri Tali, Tarmo Tamm and Kristo Enn Vaga. In total, the committee has 17 members.
