Estonian Natl Defense Council to discuss energy security, climate neutrality

TALLINN - The Estonian National Defense Council is to convene at the old Ice Cellar building of Kadriorg Palace on Friday to discuss if and how Estonia could achieve energy security with its partners regionally, and how it should pursue climate neutrality.

The National Defense Council is an advisory body to the president that meets as and when necessary.

It consists of the speaker of parliament, prime minister, chairs of the parliamentary national defense committee and foreign affairs committee, minister of foreign affairs, minister of defense, minister of finance, minister of the interior, minister of justice, minister of economic affairs and infrastructure, minister of foreign trade and IT, and commander of the defense forces.
