TALLINN - Estonian President Alar Karis congratulated French President Emmanuel Macron on his reelection on Sunday evening.
Karis hailed Macron's presidential reelection with a tweet in French.
"France and Estonia are very close allies; we defend the same values in NATO and the European Union. I wish you every success for your new five-year term!" Karis said.
Having beaten his far-right rival Marine Le Pen in the second round of France's presidential election, the incumbent head of state of France has been reelected for a second term.
