TALLINN - The Estonian government decided to support the tourism sector with an additional five million euros on Tuesday, Prime Minister Juri Ratas said during parliament question time on Wednesday.

The minister responsible for the area has been requested to develop a measure totaling five million euros and the basis for the distribution thereof in cooperation with Enterprise Estonia within two weeks, the prime minister said.

Ratas pointed out that the further five million euros comes as an addition to the 5.8 million euros the government decided to allocate to tourism companies as crisis support on Sept. 29.
