The Estonian government decided on April 25 that the emergency situation declared in the country will be extended until the midnight between May 17 and 18.
The decision to extend the emergency situation was confirmed to the daily Postimees by Minister of Social Affairs Tanel Kiik.
"At midnight on the night between May 17 and May 18 [the emergency situation] will end if the Government of the Republic does not decide otherwise," Kiik said.
