Estonian formin to take part in OSCE informal ministerial meeting

TALLINN - Estonian Minister of Foreign Affairs Urmas Reinsalu is to participate in an informal meeting of the foreign ministers of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in Strbske Pleso in Slovakia at the start of next week, where the security of the region will be discussed.

At the informal OSCE foreign ministers' meeting to be held on Monday and Tuesday next week, topics to be discussed include the region's security situation and the role of OSCE in solving crises, spokespeople for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BNS on Friday.

The OSCE with its 57 participating states located in Europe, northern and central Asia, and North America is the largest security-oriented intergovernmental organization aimed at ensuring peace and stability.
