Estonian formin to attend Foreign Affairs Council meeting in Brussels

TALLINN - Estonian Foreign Minister Sven Mikser is to attend a meeting of the European Union's Foreign Affairs Council (FAC) in Brussels on Monday.

The council will discuss what the future of EU's partnership with the countries of Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific Ocean region could be as well as cooperation between the EU and Libya, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

The ministers will also discuss the Middle East peace process. The discussions will prepare for discussing the peace process, bilateral relations and developments in the region with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas at an unofficial lunch that follows the meeting.

Mikser will also meet with his Portuguese counterpart Augusto Santos Silva, with whom he will discuss security political topics, migration and Brexit.
