A software developer vacancy announcement published by the Estonian Foreign Intelligence Service on March 14 marked the first time that the agency is seeking for an employee by means of a public competition. The agency published an announcement that it is seeking for a software developer. Previously the Foreign Intelligence Service has published a cryptographic puzzle in its annual review with an invitation for those who successfully solve the puzzle to contact it.
