TALLINN – Representatives of the Estonian Chamber of Bailiffs and Trustees in Bankruptcy on Tuesday met with Serbian Assistant Justice Minister for Judiciary Administration Jelena Deretic and Assistant Justice Minister for European Union Integration Cedomir Backovic and gave them an overview of Estonia's execution proceeding and IT solutions.
At the meeting, the Serbian delegation was given an overview of Estonia's execution system and various IT solutions. The delegation was most interested in the www.oksjonikeskus.ee website created by the chamber as Serbia is also planning to create a digital auction environment for private bailiffs.
Serbia previously had a duplicated bailiff system but it was realized that the most effective option is a system of freelance bailiffs.
The Serbian delegation was met by bailiffs Mati Kadak, Janek Pool, Arvi Pink, Risto Sepp, chancellor of the chamber Kristi Hunt and adviser Jaan Loonik.
