Estonia supports directing additional EUR 300 m into healthcare

The Estonian government has approved amendments to laws connected to funding healthcare, according to which the income basis of the Health Insurance Fund would be increased by directing additionally more than 300 m Euros into healthcare in the next five years, including 34 m Euros in 2018. "In April, the government decided to make additional contributions to healthcare for nonworking pensioners as of next year.
