A motion of no confidence in Estonia's Rural Affairs Minister Mart Jarvik has failed in the Estonian parliament.
The motion against the Estonian Conservative People's Party (EKRE) minister lodged by the opposition was rejected by a vote of 43 to 51 with no abstentions. Two members of the Riiikogu did not take part in the vote.
Chair of the Reform Party group Kaja Kallas when handing in the motion said that the minister has proved during the past six months that he is not worthy to hold the office of member of the government.
