Websummit, Lisbon, Portugal
At the start of November, the world’s largest technology conference, Websummit in Lisbon, Portugal, saw Estonian tech companies Bolt (formerly known as Taxify) and TransferWise, two prominent international unicorn tech companies from the Baltic States make major business announcements.
70,469 participants, from 163 countries attended this year’s Websummit. The summit’s gender ratio hit a record high, with this year’s women participants being 46.3%.
