Estonia's 1st IKEA store opens near Tallinn

TALLINN – Swedish furniture giant IKEA opened its first store in Estonia in the village of Kurna near Tallinn on Thursday. 

The 30,000 square meter store features up to 9,000 products for immediate take-away, IKEA said in a press release.

In addition, a Swedish restaurant with seats for approximately 400 patrons opened on the same property. 

The store's operating hours are Monday to Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The IKEA pick-up and order point on Peterburi Road, Tallinn will remain open also after the opening of the store at Kurna.
