TALLINN – As part of a pilot project, Rimi has entered into a cooperation arrangement with Wolt in seven stores in Tallinn, with the aim of delivering goods to customers requiring a particularly fast service in around 30 minutes.
The selection of food products that can be ordered via Wolt consists of more than 700 Rimi products, the companies said in a press release.
"Wolt has a network of couriers and processes through which Rimi can satisfy the need of its customers to order groceries to their home in a very short time. In addition, we will be testing the internal processes of our stores in fulfilling customer orders that require a very quick response," Vaido Padumae, CEO of Rimi Estonia, said.
Food delivery on the Wolt platform follows the same principles as food delivery from restaurants.
