Estonia: Tiit Terik elected chair of Tallinn council

The council of Tallinn on April 17 elected Tiit Terik as its chairman with 41 votes. The previous chairman of the council, Mihhail Kolvart, was elected by the council the new mayor of Tallinn a week  ago. Terik was a member of the 12th Riigikogu, served as elder of the Tallinn city district of Pirita from 2007 to 2013 and as elder of the city district of Nomme from 2013 to 2016.
