Estonia: Tallinn's taxi market back at pre-crisis level

The taxi market of Tallinn has recovered and is back at the level seen before the crisis, the municipal police said on August 17. Spokespeople for the municipal police said that after the emergency situation was declared, the city's officials handling taxi licenses started to accept electronic applications only. In May and June the numbers of new proceedings opened fell drastically and canceling of vehicle cards became widespread, with 238 newly issued vehicle cards canceled during that period.
