Estonia, Russia agree to resume transport cooperation

According to Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Sergey Aristov, Estonia and Russia have come to an agreement as to the reestablishing of their cooperation in the field of transport. “We effectively agreed to resume our transport communications and discussed the possibility of speeding up our passenger railroad service similarly to that between St. Petersburg and Helsinki where border and customs controls are carried out on the move,” Aristov told Postimees at the TransRussia economic forum in Moscow.
