Estonia: Pevkur slams Ratas over handling of ID card controversy, Ratas hits back

Hanno Pevkur, chairman of Estonia's largest opposition party, has accused Prime Minister Juri Ratas of overreacting in dealing with the potential security flaw found in Estonia's electronic ID card and thereby undermining the reputation of Estonia. The revelations about the breach were made in the beginning of August. Ratas, chairman of the Center Party, dismissed the claims of the leader of the Reform Party as cynical and advised Pevkur to refrain from disseminating conspiracy theories.
