TALLINN - Estonian company Mobiusbike launched a bicycle rental service in Tallinn in June, the online news portal of public broadcaster ERR reports.
The company currently has 100 bicycles in circulation and plans to add 200 more.
To rent a bike, a corresponding app must first be downloaded. Unlocking a bike requires scanning a QR code. The bicycle has to be returned to a designated bike park.
Car rental operator Sixt also offered a bicycle rental service in Tallinn last year, but terminated it from January 22.
