Estonia: King of Belgium to visit Belgian troops serving at Tapa military base

TALLINN – King Philippe of Belgium is scheduled to arrive at the Tapa military base in Estonia at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday to meet with the Belgian troops residing there.

The Belgian king will be accompanied by Estonian Defense Minister Juri Luik and at the Tapa base he will be welcomed by commander of the 1st Infrantry Brigade of the Estonian defense forces, Col. Vahur Karus, and head of the British battle group, Lt. Col. Angus Tilney.

Before meeting the Belgian troops, King Philippe is also scheduled to observe a mock battle and inspect an equipment exhibition.
