Estonia: Design by Hayashi- Grossschmidt Arhitektuur wins Patarei architecture competition

An entry by Estonian architecture firm Hayashi -- Grossschmidt Arhitektuur, titled "Taevakaar," has won the competition for the design of the courtyards, glass roofs and outdoor areas of Tallinn's Patarei sea fortress. Deputy Head of the Tallinn City Planning Board Oliver Alver said that the very good solution for the outdoor areas and the beach promenade offered by the winning design will significantly improve people's access to the sea.
