The board of the Estonian Social Democratic Party (SDE) on Monday endorsed speaker of the parliament Eiki Nestor as the party’s candidate for the next Estonian president.
“I am convinced that Eiki would be the best president for Estonia. He has longtime political experience from both the Riigikogu and the government,” the party’s chairman Jevgeni Ossinovski said in a press release.
