Estonia’s ever bullish economy sees slowdown in 2016’s first half

Although the volume of total output in Estonia at the end of last year was close to its pre-crisis peak and was expected to surpass that level this year, the first half of 2016 has been sluggish in the Baltic country, admits Birgit Strikholm, economist at the Bank of Estonia. “We have not seen a considerable pickup of the Estonian economy this year so far,” she told The Baltic Times.
