Altogether 1,287 babies were born in Estonia in July -- 622 girls and 665 boys -- bringing the total number of births in the first seven months of 2020 to 7,777, according to the population facts department of the Ministry of the Interior.
"The largest number of births thus far this year has been registered in July -- 76 more than in June and 332 more than in February," Population Minister Riina Solman was quoted by ministry spokespeople as saying. "During the first seven months of 2020, altogether 7,777 babies have been born."
