Five men and one woman were briefly taken under arrest by police in Estonia as suspects in defrauding the Agricultural Registers and Information Authority (PRIA) and the Environmental Investment Center (KIK) of more than one million euros or aiding thereof.
According to the suspicion, Madis, 38, and Marika, 37, submitted to PRIA eight and to KIK two investment applications containing incorrect information in 2010-2016 to buy various equipment for a wood processing facility, spokespeople for the prosecutor's office said.
