In 2018, Estonia embarks on a celebration, which will conclude on 2 Feb. 2020, of its 100 years of existence since Estonians in the Estonian and Livonian provinces united and declared their independence in February 1918, in the aftermath of World War I and the Russian revolutions of 1917. The Estonia 100 anniversary programme will encompass all fields of life.
