Envoys of 4 countries present credentials to Estonian president

TALLINN - The new ambassadors of four countries to Estonia on Tuesday presented their credentials to President Kersti Kaljulaid in Parnu.

The ambassadors to present their credentials to the Estonian head of state were the ambassador of the Netherlands, Ozlem Canel, the ambassador of Vietnam, Dang Thi Hai Tam, the ambassador of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Maktoum bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, and the ambassador of Iceland, Aušunn Atlason, spokespeople for the president said. 

The ceremonies of receiving credentials from the ambassadors were held in front of the Kuninga Street high school in the city of Parnu.

The president of Estonia is currently based on Parnu in line with a tradition according to which the head of state spends about two weeks every fall working out of a town or a city other than Tallinn.
