English language exam remains most popular among Lithuanian school-leavers

VILNIUS – 552 fewer school-leavers in Lithuania will take a state English language exam in the upcoming spring but it remains the most popular exam, the latest figures from country's National Education Agency show. Some 18,433 candidates have picked this foreign language exam this year. A total of 27,733 school-leavers will sit for graduation exams in the spring, 521 fewer than during the last academic year. 17,207 candidates have chosen to take a state Lithuanian language and literature exam, 29 more than last year.
