Employment of secondary and tertiary graduates has improved in Latvia

Employment of secondary and tertiary graduates in Latvia has substantially improved, according to the European Commission's annual Education and Training Monitor. In Latvia, 84 percent of secondary and tertiary graduates are employed, and the growth of this percentage in Latvia has been one of the fastest in the European Union during the last ten years. The report also emphasizes that increasingly more schoolchildren in Latvia choose vocational education and work-based learning, and the number of vocational graduates who find jobs is also increasing in the country.
