Estonian Conservative People's Party (EKRE) leader and Interior Minister Mart Helme said that President Kersti Kaljulaid should resign from the position of head of state. Helme's statement is motivated by an interview published by Foreign Policy in which Kaljulaid said she hates the inciting behavior of EKRE's politicians.
"This person [President Kersti Kaljulaid] does not acknowledge who she is, what her job position is, what kind of powers and what kind of responsibilities she has," Helme was quoted by party spokespeople as saying.
