RIGA - The commission evaluating candidates for the State Revenue Service decided after its first meeting Friday to choose eight candidates for the second round of the competition, as State Chancellery's Director Martins Krievins announced at a press conference today.
A total of nineteen candidates applied for the unoccupied position of the Revenue Service head. Today, the commission assessed their compliance with criteria, and plans to interview eight candidates shortlisted for the second round of competition in the near future.
