Estonian formin to make working visit to United States

TALLINN - Estonian Foreign Minister Eva-Maria Liimets is about to make a working visit to New York on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Liimets will participate in the UN Security Council's high-level open debate on technology and peacekeeping, led by Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, spokespeople for the Foreign Ministry told BNS.

In addition, bilateral meetings have been scheduled with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, UK Secretary of State Tariq Ahmad and India's Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar.

Members of the Security Council will also have lunch with UN Secretary-General Guterres.
