The Netherlands plans to contribute to the German-led NATO battalion which will be deployed in Lithuania to discourage Russian aggression.
Lithuanian National Defense Minister Juozas Olekas says that such plans were revealed during a meeting of NATO defense ministers in June.
"Today we have a very clear signal from Holland that they are ready. This was clearly stated during the defense ministers' meeting," he told BNS.
