MOSCOW - Two trucks with Latvian registration plates collided on a highway in Russia's Tver Oblast last Saturday, and the drivers of both vehicles died in the accident, local media reported.
According to preliminary information, one of the drivers drove his vehicle into the wrong lane, causing the collision with the other truck, the regional traffic authority informed.
The accident happened in the 397th kilometer of route M-9, also known as the Baltic Highway.
Both drivers of the trucks died in the collision. The trucks had Latvian registration plates.
