RIGA - A national digital Covid-19 vaccination certificate has started operating this morning around 9 am, with which residents can confirm the fact of vaccination, LETA observed.

The website states that there are three types of certificates available - a certificate of vaccination against Covid-19, a certificate of the results of Covid-19 laboratory tests, and a certificate of the fact that the persons has recovered from Covid-19. The required certificate can be presented in digital form or downloaded and printed. At the same time, it is possible to verify the presented certificate or check its validity by scanning the QR code of the certificate.

As reported, all providers of individual services whose operations were suspended will be permitted to resume operations on June 1, provided that they have been vaccinated against Covid-19 or have recovered from the coronavirus.

The Health Ministry earlier said that Covid-19 restrictions for persons who have not been vaccinated for Covid-19 would be eased gradually as Covid-19 incidence declines.
