RIGA - Despite the rise in the Covid-19 incidence, the government might not yet introduce harsher restrictions.
As reported, the two-week cumulative Covid-19 incidence has increased from 117.7 to 122,1 cases per 100,000 residents over the past 24 hours.
In line with the Cabinet of Ministers regulation on epidemiological safety measures, of the cumulative two-week incidence reached 120 cases per 100,000 residents, new restrictions should come into force.
At the same time, the Cabinet of Ministers on Tuesday plan to revise amendments to the regulations, providing that the current restrictions remain in force until the next decision made by the Cabinet of Ministers.
