Deputy Defence Minister: I don’t relate all cyber security threats to single state

The urgent need for cyber security and, specifically, the scourge of fake news, have been felt recently at Lithuania’s Ministry of Defence. In January, its boss, Raimundas Karoblis, was the victim of fake news after the Tv3.lt website was hacked and a fake news story was posted there alleging that Karoblis harassed a journalist in a Vilnius radio station and that furthermore he’d admitted to being gay.
