Cramo Latvia demonstrated significant growth in 2024, strengthening its position in the construction equipment rental market. Managing Director Dmitrijs Sazonovs shares the past year’s results and outlines future development directions.

“2024 was a year of positive momentum for Cramo Latvia – our turnover reached €4.8 million, which is a 39% increase compared to 2023,” notes Cramo Latvia Managing Director Dmitrijs Sazonovs. “This significantly outpaced general market growth, indicating a gain in market share.”

“Key growth factors included the flexibility of our services, efficient logistics, and investment in equipment modernization. We are also seeing growing client demand for equipment with lower CO₂ emissions and improved efficiency,” Sazonovs emphasizes.

In 2024, Cramo Latvia continued to make significant investments in renewing and expanding its equipment fleet. The company’s fleet now includes more than 2,000 units, including the latest generation electric platforms, hybrid engine forklifts, and zero-emission machinery.

“Our customers especially value fast delivery, reliable equipment, and expert support. We’ve also improved service quality and are planning to expand with new rental depots to serve regional clients more efficiently. At present, we operate three rental depots in Riga,” says Sazonovs.

In 2025, Cramo Latvia aims to strengthen its position by expanding its equipment fleet and enhancing service capabilities. “Our ambition is to be the rental partner of choice in Latvia — offering reliable, efficient, and, when needed, sustainable solutions tailored to our customers’ needs,” notes Sazonovs.

Cramo is part of Boels Rental — one of Europe’s leading equipment rental companies, bringing strong expertise, scale, and innovation to the local market. In 2024, the Boels-Cramo Group introduced a unified ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) standards system, which is now gradually being implemented in the Latvian branch as well. “The Latvian team is considered one of the most innovative units in the region, and we will continue to lead in the development of technology and services,” concludes the Cramo Latvia Managing Director.
