RIGA - The Latvian Corruption Prevention and Combating Bureau (KNAB) has launched an investigation of the annual income statement of the Bank of Latvia’s president Ilmars Rimsevics.
KNAB spokeswoman Laura Dusa informed BNS that the investigation was launched due to comments made during the Saeima corruption prevention subcommittee meeting. KNAB will probe Rimsevics’ income statement to assess whether the law on the conflict of interests has been violated.
