Estonian bank Coop Pank is distributing dividends of €0.07 per share, totalling €7.2 million, which will be credited to the accounts of Estonian investors today.

Chairman of the Management Board Margus Rink stated that the income earned by Coop Pank supports the advancement of Estonian life and economy: “This year, we are paying dividends to approximately 35,200 shareholders, and notably, 98% of the payout will reach the accounts of Estonian individuals and businesses,” Rink said.

He added that Coop Pank’s contribution to improving everyday life in Estonia continues to grow each year: “We currently serve over 213,000 private and business customers across the country, helping them manage their daily finances with ease, build their dream homes, or make important investments.

Our 16 branch offices across 13 Estonian cities ensure that convenient access to banking services is available even outside major urban centres. In addition, we contribute to the development of Estonian society through the sponsorship of socially important initiatives,” Rink noted.

“All of our shareholders are welcome to actively contribute to the bank’s growth and to the strengthening of life in Estonia. The easiest way is to bring your salary and everyday banking to Coop Pank and make us your home bank,” he added.

In line with its dividend policy, Coop Pank pays out 25% of its previous year's pre-tax profit to shareholders—a promise the bank continues to uphold this year. The dividend payment was approved by shareholders at the General Meeting held in April, and the list of eligible shareholders was determined on May 2nd.

Dividend amounts will be transferred to the shareholders' settlement accounts on May 6, as designated in their securities account settings.

Coop Pank, based on Estonian capital, is one of five universal banks operating in Estonia. The bank serves 213,000 everyday banking customers and leverages the synergy between retail and banking to bring financial services closer to people’s homes. The bank’s strategic shareholder is Coop Eesti, a local retail chain comprising 320 stores across Estonia.
