RIGA - It is impossible to contract coronavirus from parcels shipped from China because the virus is sensitive to external environment, Ilze Araja, a representative of the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (SPKC), told LETA.
At present the World Health Organization (WHO) and the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) have not yet set any travel restrictions. There are no restrictions on shipments or trade, either. Araja said that Latvia follows recommendations issued by both organizations.
