Competition Council fines eight companies for violations of competition rules in 2018

Last year the Competition Council made a total of 26 decisions, including five on violations of competition rules for which eight companies were fined, the Competition Council's head Skaidrite Abrama told reporters on January 25. These eight companies paid fines of EUR 445,613 in total. Last year, the Competition Council ascertained two cartel agreements, in both of which the companies involved harmonized their actions in public procurement tenders.
