BRUSSELS - On Dec. 2, the European Commission adopted a new Circular Economy Package, which sets targets for EU member states on extracting the maximum value from all raw materials, products, and waste. This package includes legislative proposals by the European Commission to promote recycling and re-use of products, which will definitely boost job creation, economic growth, and investment in Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia because circular economy is still a somewhat unexploited business opportunity in the Baltics.
