Sodų 4 is happy to present the new sound series Audiolaukas, organised in collaboration with Agharta. The first sound performance night of this series will introduce guests from Brasil Cassini as well as solo project Waterflower from our neighbour Latvia.
Audiolaukas is a series of gatherings for experiences in sound. It is a new nomadic series, physically taking place across various locations in Lithuania, initiated by Agharta and partners. Strangest and most unexpected as well as most amazing things happen in the sound field. Our aim is to discover them and to make them audible to all. This introductory soundfield at project space Sodų 4 will introduce a collection of some new sounds from exotic lands as well as from neighbouring cities.
Cassini is a trio consisting of Brazilian musicians Vinicius Fernandes, Lea Taragona and Victor Negri. Improvising through textures and feedbacks, the group explores uncanny and tender sounds to catch a glimpse of unknown distances, and/or collapse at 125.500 km/h.
Waterflower is artist Sabine Moore’s audiovisual performance project. Sabine Moore’s intertwined music and visual presence is an audiovisual journey into a unique world where sound and moving image have come together like an orchestral ensemble. Musically, Waterflower draws upon genres like Electronica, Experimental Pop and Ambient. Her multi–layered compositions are created from sampled sounds like toy beeps, running water, glass beads, gardening tools, and are then mixed with synthesizers, orchestral sounds - like the violin, ghostly piano melodies and her sublime vocals.
Sound performance 26/01/2018 from 9 pm.
This event is organised by Lithuanian Interdisciplinary Artists’ Association in collaboration with Agharta, with kind support by Lithuanian Council for Culture and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania.
