RIGA - The following is the calendar of main business events scheduled in the Baltic states next week.

MONDAY, June 18

Estonia. Deadline for offers for the competition for the design and design supervision services for the construction of the section of the Rail Baltic railway in Latvia.

Estonia. Governor of the Bank of Estonia Ardo Hansson from June 18 to 20 to participate in the European Central Bank’s Forum on Central Banking to be held in Sintra, Portugal.

Estonia. Minister of Rural Affairs Tarmo Tamm to attend a sitting of the European Union Agriculture and Fisheries Council in Luxembourg.

Estonia. Minister of Entrepreneurship and IT Urve Palo to meet with Serbia’s minister responsible for IT matters and South Korea’s deputy minister responsible for digital affairs.

Latvia. Latvian Prime Minister Maris Kucinskis to chair the Cabinet of Ministers Committee meeting.

Latvia. Latvian Prime Minister Maris Kucinskis to chair the meeting of the Cooperation Council of the ruling coalition parties.

Latvia. The Enterprise Register to give a news conference about establishing the list of public persons and authorities.

Estonia. A debate on instant payments to be held at the Bank of Estonia.

Estonia. Minister of Economic Affairs and Infrastructure Kadri Simson to attend a high-level meeting concerning self-driving cars to be held in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Latvia. Latvian Prime Minister Maris Kucinskis to chair the Cabinet of Ministers meeting.

Latvia. The annual talks between the Latvian Ministry of Environment and Regional Development and the Latvian Association of Local Governments.

Latvia. The meeting of shareholders of Latvijas Gaze natural gas utility.

Lithuania. Statistics Lithuania to publish first-quarter house prices indexes.
