Calendar of main business events in Baltic states next week

RIGA/TALLINN/VILNIUS - The following is the calendar of main business events scheduled in the Baltic states next week.

MONDAY, November 26

Estonia. Joint seminar of the Baltic Marine Environment Protection Commission -- Helsinki Commission (HELCOM), the International Council for the Exploration of the Sea (ICES) and the joint Baltic Sea research and development program (BONUS) in Tallinn to explore the impact of human activity on the marine environment.

Latvia. CEO Meets Investors conference organized by the Nasdaq Riga stock exchange.

Latvia. The Latvian National Fire and Rescue Service (VUGD) will test the civil defense sirens.

Latvia. The Cabinet of Ministers to hold a special sitting at the Riga Castle.

Latvia. Conference National Energy and Climate Plan for 2021-2030 to be held.

Lithuania. The Environmental Protection Institute to present the results of a survey on the market of unused cars and their waste and the shadow market in Lithuania.

Lithuania. Statistics Lithuania to publish 3Q results on material investment and pay.

Lithuania. Finance Minister Vilius Sapoka and his advisor Raminta Stanaityte-Cesnuliene to attend an event in London on Lithuania's investment environment on Nov. 25-27, organized by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and Emerging Europe.

Estonia. Minister of Public Administration Janek Maggi to chair meeting of a governmental committee for solving the worries of residents of border areas of Southeast Estonia in Tartu.

Lithuania. Energijos Skirstymo Operatorius to continue its annual cycle of conferences on energy efficiency in Vilnius.

Lithuania. Economy Vice Gintaras Vilda to attend an event for representatives of digital innovation centers in Warsaw on Nov. 27-28, organized by the European Commission for the discussion of the Digital Europe program.

Lithuania. Statistics Lithuania to publish the consumer opinion survey for November as well as services figures for 3Q and the first three quarters of this year, as well as retail sales and catering firm turnover figures for October.
