RIGA - The State Police on Tuesday detained businessman Gulam Gulami, Latvian Television reported today.
On Wednesday, a court ruled to remand Gulami in custody.
Representatives of the State Police told LETA without identifying the person in question, that the Riga criminal police have been conducting a criminal probe into large-scale or organized fraud, falsification of a document or seal, as well as for an illegal destruction or opening of a postal consignment.
