Business organisations support Latvian PM's proposal about changes in microenterprise tax

RIGA - The Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LTRK) and the Latvian Confederation of Employers (LDDK) back the proposal by Prime Minister Maris Kucinskis (Greens/Farmers) to increase the microenterprise tax to 15 per cent and to pay a large part of the revenue into the social insurance budget but are still concerned about possible tax avoidance schemes in relation to the microenterprise tax, representatives of both business organisations said at a news conference today.
