On May 8, a discussion on the European Commission-initiated pilot project supporting regions in industrial transition took place in the European Commission’s headquarters, the Berlaymont building in Brussels. The project supports the two small EU Member States of Lithuania and Slovenia, as well as 10 regions in seven countries of western Europe: in France (three regions of France), Spain, the United Kingdom, Finland, Sweden, Italy, Germany, and Belgium.
